Embracing the Devil (Non-beliving deniers of Jesus Christ) at some point we must not waste our time with those who deny Jesus as Christ, and most of the Mormon "DIALOUGE" is self worship.

Lets see what Saul the Jew, Paul the apostle Says
In the book of Titus.

3 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
14 Not giving heed to JEWISH fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision(JEWS):
11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy alucre’s sake.

John and others record History as it was and is.
These comments are not written to create hate towards the Jews, The Jews have more than their fair share of hate. We should Pray and preach to them, not play in the Mud with pigs and Dogs as we
might find on us mud and fleas.

We are not all the same. And no Rodney we are not going to all just get along.

Singing Kumbia and roasting marsh-mellows over an open fire is not what we are called to do.

D&C 63: 58
58 For this is a day of warning, and not a day of many words. For I, the Lord, am not to be mocked in the last days.

John 19: 3, 7, 12, 14, 19-21, 31, 38, 40, 42
And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands.

7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

That is exactly the Truth "I AM THAT I AM"
Preach repentance, Preach the Truth, not excuses or sharing your Lack of belief.

28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1 IN the beginning God created the heaven and the earth

John 14: 4-6
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

12 For the aword of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God,...

Long but worth it!

The Son is in the express image of the person of the Father—Christ is the Only Begotten Son and thus above the angels.
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the eworlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
39 But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

I think that we are all children of our Father in Heaven. That being kind to people of any nation or religion is good. Being good neighbors is good. Two religions getting along and even having dialogue is good. We can learn from each other and be tolerant of each other.

It does not mean we have to agree on everything, I even enjoy some of the banter where Mormons disagree with Jews.

But these people are our friends, they are our brothers and sisters from the pre-existence, they are our physical cousins, and some will be our spiritual brothers in Messiah.

There is no need to pick a fight where one does not exist.

Neat! I want to hear about it when you get back. I love your new tamplate layout!! This will be a lot of fun to read. :) And the temple webpage is very intersting.

I read Larson's books a number of years ago, he has like a three of four volume set. I will look this over and watch the videos.

Thanks,

The Lord has clearly instructed us regarding our relationship with the Jews: O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people?

See: 2 Nephi 29:4-5, 3 Nephi 29:8, Genesis 12:3, Psalms 102:13, Psalms 122:6, etc.

I am regretfully unable to attend the "Jewish & Mormon Dialogue Group" meetings in Los Angeles.

I am however involved in a somewhat similar, informal effort in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

Rabbi Andrew Straus has graciously opened up his Torah study to people of all faiths.

Temple Emanuel of Tempe
(A Reform Congregation)
5801 S. Rural Rd.
Tempe, Arizona 85283
http://www.emanueloftempe.org/

The Torah study is every Thursday at 7:15 PM.

There are opportunities for interfaith dialogue and fellowship within the Torah study and other temple activities.

Thank you,

Molly:

I was not able to go at the last minute. However if you see the first page of the " The Latter-day Trumpet" is has a review of the meeting. I seem to have it in my mind that you are in the area where that paper circulates.
